Teaching is a calling not a career! TEACHING I have taught various maths to students pre-K through adult. Presently, I teach at an alternative high school in Alvin, Texas, where we help students make more positive choices for their futures in order to become productive citizens. This year my main classes are Algebra 2, Algebra 1, Math Models, and AFP-academic future preparation. Throughout my teaching career I have tutored numerous students to success on PSAT, SAT, ACT, Texas State exams , other college entrance exams , and even GED. In addition, as a Kumon Instructor, I taught pre-schoolers through adults math and reading. TUTORING Learning HOW you learn best is key to how you study. Are you an auditory, kinesthetic, tactile, or verbal learner? Are you a global or analytical thinker? How do you process information? Knowing the answers to these questions (and a few others) will make a HUGE impact on your success. Why? Because it is the way you are wired. And when we are usually more successful in life when we pursue our natural wiring.
